The Centre for Teresian Carmelite Education and Spirituality was founded in October of the year 2001 in Toronto in the Province of Ontario as a not-for-profit Corporation for the purpose of advancing the teachings of Carmelite Spirituality of the Catholic faith and the religious tenets, doctrines, observances and culture associated with the faith.
It is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of Discalced Carmelite Friars and Discalced Carmelite Seculars. The Centre is supported by charitable donations.
All educational services are offered by qualified Carmelite Friars and Carmelite Seculars who have received the Carmelite charism, and volunteer their time and talents to teach and share their Carmelite spirituality with those interested in deepening their spiritual life.
The Centre For Teresian Carmelite Education and Spirituality strives to witness to the joy that the love of God brings, so that the lives that we touch will be filled with the hope and peace that only Jesus Christ can give.
To provide Carmelite Education and Spirituality to all people for the purpose of assisting them in living a spiritual life which leads to deep union with God and joyful service to others.
